ATTICA, Ind. (CNS) - Robert E. Doyle, 64, of 736 N. 13th, Lafayette, brother of Mrs. Frank (Flora) Bartlett of Attica, died in St. Elizabeth Hospital in Lafayette at 7:40 p.m. Tuesday (Aug. 1, 1972). He had been a patient there for several weeks. Born Aug. 7, 1907, in Lafayette, he was the son of George and Lillian Stover Doyle. The family moved to Independence in 1916 and he attended school there. He then resided in Attica several years with Mrs. Bartlett and worked for the Northern Indiana Power Co. Employed at Purdue University for 20 years in the maintenance department, he retired in October 1971. Survivors include a step-daughter, Mrs. Marcella Schweidler of Phoenix Ariz.; two sisters, Mrs. B-------of Attica and Mrs. Clay Conwell of Lafayette, two stepgranddaughters and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife and an infant son, four brothers and two sisters. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Hippensteel Funeral Home in Lafayette, with the Rev. Silas B. Mullen officiating. Burial will be in Rest Haven Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home. - jlr
